Situated in their Vineyard Tasting Room with sweeping views over the valleys, it’s the perfect location to enjoy the range of wines made on site.
Tours & Tastings are available to pre-book at the vineyard all-year-round. If you’re part of a larger group, there’s also the opportunity of having your own Private Tour.

Classic Tour & Tasting
Join us on a journey of discovery through the vineyard, into the winery and finally into the glass. During your tour you’ll learn all about the fascinating world of viticulture and winemaking in a cool climate with a focus on still wine production.
After a wander through the vines and then into the winery, enjoy a tutored tasting of a selection of our uniquely Cotswold still & sparkling wines while drinking in the valley views of our Tasting Room.
Fancy some lunch? Join us for a Classic Tour & Tasting with either Grazing Lunch hamper or award-winning Fish & Chips.
Premium Tour & Tasting
Enjoy a selection of our premium wines alongside some exciting food pairings.
Starting with an introduction to the wonderful world of English winemaking covering both still & sparkling production, you’ll visit the vines and the winery.
You’ll then retire to the Tasting Room for a selection of our Premium Wines perfectly paired with a selection of locally sourced nibbles.
Fizz & Chips
We’ve teamed up with award-winning Simpson’s Fish & Chips to bring you the perfect pairing – a sparkling wine tasting followed by a portion of their finest fish & chips to enjoy.
About Woodchester Valley Vineyard
Voted Best in the West in the 2024 WineGB Awards, Woodchester Valley is one of the top English Vineyards. Located in the Cotswolds, we offer regular Tours & Tastings throughout the week. A warm welcome and a glass of delicious Cotswold wine awaits.
Woodchester Valley was established in 2007 when a single acre of vines were planted on our Amberley site to assess the suitability of the land for growing vines.
Our first vintage, a crisp dry Bacchus was produced from our 2010 harvest. This was followed by a further planting in 2011, and an additional 20 acres at our Woodchester site in 2012, and then another 20 acres in Stonehouse in 2013.
Our winery was established in 2016, with our 2016 vintage being the first year we produced our wines on site.
Now with 58 acres under vine, we produce a variety of still and sparkling wines, for which we have won multiple awards. We’re excited to be part of putting the West of England back on the winemaking map.
At our site in Woodchester (between Stroud & Nailsworth in Gloucestershire), we run Tours, Tastings and Events at our vineyard Tasting Room all-year-round. Our Cellar Door Shop nearby is also open for browsing and tasting selected wines each week.
