South Cotswolds Tours

South Cotswolds Tours from £395

Painswick – Castle Combe – Tetbury – Bath

This tour would begin from a pickup location of your choice. We could then spend the morning first visiting the historic wool town of Painswick and the Rococo Garden, surrounded by the most delightful Cotswold countryside before moving on to discover Castle Combe in a gentle curve of a valley and world-famous for its beauty. This is a remarkable place to visit with over 100 listed buildings. A visit here really does feel like a trip back in time!

Then on to Royal Tetbury. Home to King Charles III and Queen Camilla although I cannot guarantee we shall meet them…. but you never know! This is the second largest town in the Cotswolds and dates to Saxon times. Its set within gentle rolling hills and still used for sheep grazing the real essence of Cotswold history.

Then lunch before spending the afternoon at Bath. A UNESCO world heritage site. A city built for pleasure. Home to Roman baths and hot springs. The famous Royal Crescent built between 1767 and 1774 is a must stop too as is the Circus. You can spend the afternoon in Bath at your leisure visiting all these places or take a walking tour for an extra cost with an approved tour guide.

I then pick you up and return you to your local hotel, train station or even your airport if necessary for an additional cost.

Each of these tours really does give you the opportunity to discover this outstandingly beautiful area with Cotswolds Discovery tours and Chris as your driver.
