He can deliver a personalised tour based on your requests whilst travelling in his own luxury Mercedes V- Class vehicle. On request he can collect you from your hotel or airport to make your visit to the UK even more comfortable and enjoyable.
Chris is the sole owner of Cotswolds Discovery Tours and his aim is to share the experiences and sights with you that he discovered as a child growing up around the Cotswolds. He now lives in an area on the edge of The Windrush Valley and explores the area with his daughter finding the hidden secret spots that are sometimes easy to miss. Let him share these places with you!
A private tour is for you and your party only. I am your driver for the entire tour, and we can stop anywhere for those special photo opportunities. Whilst we need to keep to a timetable to pack in as much as we can for you, I will endeavour to adapt the tour to suit you.
There is so much to see in The Cotswolds, and it is such a huge area to cover, almost 800 square miles in fact, that I generally split tours into two distinct areas so we can see as much as possible in one day. I can design a trip for you, or you can go with one of my suggested tours.
Generally, we offer two tours, and will include some of the towns and villages listed:
Burford, Bibury, Bourton on the Water, The Slaughters, Stow on the Wold, Snowshill, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Moreton in Marsh, Stanton and Stanway.
Cirencester, Birdlip, Slad, Painswick, Tetbury, Highgrove House, Castle Combe, and Bath.
I can also incorporate a visit to many of the fabulous places of interest within The Cotswolds such as Sudeley Castle, Hailes Abbey, Highgrove House, Stanton House, Snowshill Manor or Chastleton House. There are also some wonderful gardens such as at Batsford arboretum, Painswick Rococo Garden or Hidcote Manor garden. Entrance fees are not included in the tour.
On request I can also arrange transport to Blenheim Palace or Oxford.
The length of tour is variable and flexible, but usually around 8 hours. Start and finish time to suit you.

I can collect from local train stations or your hotel. I am happy to discuss where is best to collect you so we can do as much sightseeing as possible on your day. There are fabulous train services from London to Oxford Parkway and Paddington to Kingham or Moreton in Marsh.
